Yamauchi joins SEKISUI KYDEX as the new CEO

SEKISUI KYDEX has appointed Yoritaka “Taka” Yamauchi as its new CEO.

Yamauchi joins SEKISUI KYDEX with over 18 years of experience developing his leadership skills and business acumen across cultures and countries. He has extensive management experience at SEKISUI Chemical and will combine his understanding of the US and Japanese work cultures.

When asked about his goals for his first year at SEKISUI KYDEX, Yamauchi said he is looking forward to focusing on both business strategy and product development. “Over the next year,” he said, “I will spend time understanding our product, how it’s made and our differentiators, ensuring we offer the best service to meet our customers’ needs.”

Educated at the University of California, Berkeley with degrees in business and finance, Yamaouti continued to build his career working in Vietnam, the United States, Germany and Thailand.

“The future of SEKISUI KYDEX is exciting. We will focus our efforts on quality improvement, product diversification and our sustainability initiatives within the SEKISUI CHEMICAL group and its long-term vision 2030 “Innovation for the Earth”. We are ready to deliver more than our customers can imagine,” said Yamauti.

The KYDEX portfolio includes injection molding resins, patented Infused Imaging technology, integrated special effects, unique textures, and customized products and designs.
