China Cargo Airlines continues its Lufthansa Technik component support contract

China Cargo Airlines has extended its existing component support contract with Lufthansa Technik to bring more than ten Boeing 777-200 freighters into service.

Under the 15-year contract, these aircraft will be covered by fully customized and extensive component services.

In 2019, Lufthansa Technik was awarded a contract to support components of China Cargo Airlines’ Boeing 747-400 cargo aircraft.

Lufthansa Technik will support China Cargo Airlines’ main base in Shanghai with component service offices in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Hamburg to coordinate customer support and provide 24/7 AOG services worldwide in multiple locations.

Technical resuscitation and maintenance services will be provided at Lufthansa Technik’s component manufacturing centers in Hamburg, Germany and Shenzhen, China.

“Our long-term cooperation with Lufthansa Technik began back in 2000, and we have been excellent partners in the aviation industry for more than two decades,” said Chinese cargo airlinesVice President Liu Gang. “[With the] fully customized range of component services, we are confident that we can continue to rely on Lufthansa Technik to service our new 777-200 freighters.”
