The first of four webinars, H-2A: Getting the Right Farm Workers Legal, will be held on November 30 at 10:00 a.m.

ENFIELD, CT — Join Harris Beach, PLLC and Farm Credit East for an informative webinar series on seasonal labor and immigration. The first of four webinars entitled “H-2A: Obtaining needed agricultural workers legally”, will take place on Wednesday, November 30, at 10.00

In this webinar, Harris Beach attorneys and the New York State Department of Labor’s Foreign Worker Certification Division will cover several topics, including H-2A 101: The 2022-23 Process; H-2A employer responsibilities and compliance requirements; what constitutes employment in “agriculture”; violation of the H-2A final rule; and New York State Department of Labor news.

This series will feature three additional webinars. “Permanent foreign work options for seasonal business” will take place on Wednesday, December 7; “I-9 Compliance: What Every Seasonal Business Needs to Know” will take place on Wednesday, December 14; and “H-2B: Navigating the Maze» will take place on Wednesday, January 11. All webinars run from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the respective dates.
