Western Global Airlines acquires two Boeing 777 cargo planes

Western Global Airlines has placed a firm order for two Boeing 777 cargo planes.

The agreement, which was finalized in January, also provides for an additional purchase option.

CEO and founder of Western Global Airlines Jim Neff said: “Western Global is excited to purchase the new 777 Freighter aircraft. As the fastest growing cargo airline in the world, we have determined that adding new 777 cargo aircraft to our existing fleet will enable us to best serve our customers, providing a clear path to our future fleet plans. ”

The Boeing 777 Freighter has a range of 4,970 nautical miles and can carry a maximum design load of 107 metric tons.

“The addition of 777 Freighters will enable Western Global to continue to grow, providing enhanced capabilities and flexibility for its operations,” said Ihsan Munir, Boeing’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.

“These new cargo planes will complement Boeing’s existing fleet, and we are committed to deepening the partnership between our companies that has existed since the inception of Western Global.”
