Coolmate, a Vietnamese menswear brand sold online, has raised $ 2 million in a Series A financing round from a group of investors.
The round was conducted by Access Ventures and included Do Ventures, CyberAgent Capital and DSG Consumer Partners.
Coolmate intends to use the money to fund new product research, upgrade its operating system and hire more human resources, said its co-founder and CEO Pham Chi Nhu.
Founded in 2019, the startup has no actual store. It is reported that he now receives 10,000 orders a day compared to 2,000 in his first year of operation.
He expects to reach $ 19 million in revenue this year.
