The Farnborough International Air Show will return in July

After a four-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, the biennial Farnborough International Air Show will return in two months, on July 18-22. At a previous event this week, organizers said the booking suggests that the event in 2022 will be on a scale comparable to what took place in 2018, more than 1,500 exhibiting companies and an expected 80,000 industry visitors. Details of the daily flight have not yet been released.

During the break, organizers took the opportunity to update the show with new features, including a global aerospace forum, which will feature presentations by senior industry leaders on topics covering sustainability, innovation, future flights, labor, space and defense. The workshops will be held in a pair of “sound scenes” that were used to produce the films.

“We are committed to providing a platform to address the existential challenge of climate change,” said Gareth Rogers, CEO of Farnborough International. “We are not going to bet on the company in this regard [discussion], we are trying to solve real problems. No matter where you sit in the aviation ecosystem, we have to deal with it. ”

This year to show a revised program of meetings for exhibitors and visitors will also be presented. They will no longer be limited to the buyer-to-supplier format, but will instead include opportunities for direct interaction between buyers and suppliers.
