Look no further than the events of the virtual CAFRE open week for inspiration.
CAFRE offers courses ranging from certificates to honors diplomas in nutrition, agriculture, horses and horticulture, as well as a master’s degree in business for agri-food and rural businesses. Courses are available full-time, part-time, and work / apprenticeship-based.
The CAFRE ethos is “on-the-job training,” and as a result, internationally recognized hands-on facilities on each of the three campuses are excellent. They showcase the latest science, technology, innovation and business management techniques for the industry. CAFRE students study in first-class facilities, and courses are conducted by highly qualified staff.
Students study at CAFRE as they are interested in getting a good job in the agri-food industry upon completion of the course. The results speak for themselves – more than 95% of graduates get a job or go on to higher education within six months of completing a course, and 93% recommend their course to others.
“In seven virtual open events, you will learn directly from program managers, current students and staff what it is like to study at CAFRE,” said Deirdra Cooper, Senior Admissions Officer at CAFRE.
“Graduates also have the opportunity to tell their story of how the CAFRE qualification began its career in the agri-food industry. Pre-booked campus tours will also be arranged for each course area, which will take place on Friday 11 or Saturday 12 March 2022. ”
If you are interested, please join a series of virtual open events to be held on Facebook Live from Monday, March 7 to Thursday, March 10, 2022, with different activities for each study area. Detailed information on dates and dates of virtual events and campus tours can be found on the main page of the CAFRE website.
