SIA Engineering Company opens a new aircraft engine maintenance facility

SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAEC), which is on the main board list, has opened a new Aviation Engine Service (AES) facility in Singapore to provide Safran Aircraft Engines (SAE) engine maintenance services. SIAEC, which has invested approximately $ 9.0 million in the development of the facility, will provide services for rapid engine rotation (QT) and the implementation of modifications to the CFM LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines in this engine.

With a total production area of ​​approximately 20,935 feet, AES is equipped with the latest Engine QT processes as well as state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including the use of a remote-controlled vehicle (RGV) to transport engines, one of the first in the aviation industry. The facility can perform at least 60 QT per year, as well as baroscope support and inspection services for CFM LEAP -1A and -1B engines. In addition, AES has 50% more capacity to handle harsh demands.
