LINCOLN, Neb. — The next session of “Know Your Numbers, Know Your Options,” Nebraska Extension’s four-part recordkeeping course, will be held virtually from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm central time on October 4, 11, 18 and 25.

Participants should plan to attend each of the four workshops. The course requires participants to be connected to the Internet.

This course is designed to help farmers and ranchers understand their current financial situation and how important decisions such as major purchases, new leases or production changes will affect their bottom line. Participants will work on the financial statements of a case study farm by watching pre-recorded videos, completing assignments and participating in video chats. Upon completion of this program, participants will have a better understanding of how financial records can be used to make decisions and confidently discuss their financial situation with their family, business partners and creditors.

The cost of the course is $20 per participant and the class is limited to 20 people. Register on the site https://wia.unl.edu/know. Registration closes on September 27.

This material is based on work supported by USDA/NIFA under award number 2020-70028-32728.
