Qatar Airways Cargo approves new Envirotainer ULD

Qatar Airways Cargo has approved the new generation Releye RAP container Envirotainer.

Monitoring is carried out by the Envirotainer control tower – a special service that monitors each shipment 24.7.

Envirotainer Chief Business Development Officer Fredrik Linner said: “Envirotainer Releye RAP is part of the Releye series and a RAP solution for the future. This not only allows Qatar Airways Cargo to offer its customers the latest, fully connected, active transport solution to protect the integrity and quality of their sensitive pharmaceutical products, but also provides full visibility along the transport chain.

“We have now included as a standard the Control Tower service, which uses the latest real-time monitoring technology to monitor all Releye deliveries around the clock.”

Qatar Airways Chief Cargo Officer Guillaume Halem added: “At Qatar Airways Cargo, we always strive to be at the forefront of technological developments in the industry so that our pharmaceutical and healthcare customers can benefit from the best transportation solutions. Envirotainer’s Releye containers are unmatched in stable temperature control performance and, in particular, in battery life.

“Releye RAP’s ability to cover transit time and delays without the need for recharging, as well as the ability to track and control product status, location, temperature, humidity, battery level, door openings and cargo location, provide better stability that contrasts sharply with continuing uncertainty. pandemic. Due to its exceptionally low CO2 emissions, Releye® RAP is fully in line with our sustainable development strategy. ”
