Newton-John collaborated with TidalWave on comics years ago, and TidalWave Comics publisher Darren G. Davies said: “[She] provided us with insight and exclusive information that we also used in this issue.

“She was amazing and inspiring to work with.”

“The Tribute line of comics tells the stories of classic artists who have passed away. It’s a way for us to honor these people who changed the world.”

Writer Sandra K. Ruckdeschel said, “Writing this Olivia Newton-John comic was a dream come true for me! I grew up idolizing Olivia as a child and still do as an adult! She is the embodiment of grace, kindness and love. Researching her life story for this comic wasn’t even work, it was pure joy! And to be able to create a story and images to express who she is to the world was an honor.”

TidalWave Comics is no stranger to tributes, having produced several celebrity comic series in the past; such as Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton and Prince.
