The local proposal sees the existing staff pay scale rise by two points over two years, and includes an improved one-off ‘cost of living’ payment of £750.
As a result of collective discussions with all three unions, GMB and NIPSA will now recommend the offer to its members.
Unite has the power to accept the proposal and suspend the current action of its members.
Unions and the Council welcomed the results of the constructive discussion, jointly recognizing the importance of continued positive engagement.
The council expects all affected services to return to normal by the end of this working week.
