Ithaca, NY — Deer can cause tremendous damage to your yard and eat up our favorite vegetables and ornamental plants. To help gardeners tackle this challenge, Cornell Co-Expanded Tompkins County will offer an online class, Deer and Gardening Strategy, from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 15th. Taught by experienced garden designers and educators Mirafornier and volunteers from Tompkins County Master Gardener, this class shares strategies on how to coexist with deer while maintaining a beautiful and productive garden. Topics covered include deer control, and suggestions for flowers, shrubs, and trees that are resistant to deer viewing in our area.

Classes are recorded and registered individuals will be sent a link to the recorded presentation 24-48 hours after the class took place, so those who cannot attend during a live presentation can register and class in this way.
