LATAM Group has added its fourth cargo-converted passenger aircraft as part of the company’s growth plan, which was announced in 2021.
With this 767 aircraft, the company now has a fleet of 15 freighters.
LATAM said it will increase its capacity between Europe and the Americas with the addition of aircraft N564LA operated by LATAM Cargo Colombia.
“This freighter will allow us to strengthen our transatlantic offering with more capacity from Europe to the US and further connect cargo to various destinations in South America through strategic points such as our hub in Miami,” said LATAM Cargo CEO Andres B Yankees.
“We plan to continue to expand service to and from markets that are important to our customers as the remaining cargo vessels included in our growth plan are incorporated into our fleet.”
LATAM plans to end the year with a fleet of 16 freighters after the expected delivery of its fifth freighter in September.
