It’s All About E-Commerce: EBE Call for Papers 2023

About 250 exhibitors are participating in the exhibition Exhibition of e-commerce in Berlin will return on February 23, 2023. In addition to meeting well-known companies such as MyToys, Douglas, Otto, TUI, Shopware or Checkout, visitors will have the opportunity to benefit from their expertise. Even the smallest retailers and businesses can present their innovations and use cases to over 8,000 people – if they succeed in their topics in the Call of Papers competition.

Solving e-commerce problems

Declining consumer sentiment is also slowing the rapid growth of online commerce. In difficult times, useful advice, valuable inspiration and shared experience are even more valuable. And that’s what E-commerce Berlin Expo is all about. This event is an ideal platform for everyone to showcase their expertise and knowledge related to e-commerce.

Here is the call for documents

Every year, the event hosts a competition of works where interested parties make proposals topics of reports during the conference. Anyone can send their ideas for evaluation by the audience and the jury. Speakers may include: retailers, store operators, merchants, manufacturers, e-commerce specialists. In addition, service providers can present their services on stage as part of a case study, ideally in collaboration with their clients. Last year, for example, Claneo and Henkel presented how search-driven content marketing works in practice. NETSTOCK Europe and KoRo provided advice on how companies can protect themselves from supply chain disruptions. The call for submissions is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise, statistics, results and assets during the event in Berlin in February 2023.

Exciting topics for papers

Digital commerce channels contain various shoals and, especially in turbulent times, things need to move even faster. Therefore, there are many questions that the speakers can answer: What tools help to optimize the flow of goods or commercial processes? What marketing activities can be used to support the sales process? What does optimal store usability look like and what connections should be considered in 2023 – especially with the growing importance of retail platforms in 2023? Where can social sales and conversions be optimized or facilitated? And of course, most importantly, according to advisory board member Thomas Ficht, head of payment at MyToys: where are customer behaviors and habits going? It might be a good idea to submit your proposal if your experience addresses any of these questions.

Document call mechanism

The deadline to submit presentation topics and apply for a speaker slot at the industry’s leading event is September 30, 2022. It’s free to attend – even if you’re not an exhibitor. The first stage is independent audience voting, which will start on October 1, 2022.

After that, an advisory board of experts will select the winners from among the favorites, whose topics will enrich the E-Commerce Expo Berlin 2023.

Who will evaluate the applications in the second round of voting? Advisory Board members can be found below:
