Hutchinson and Singapore Component Solutions complete component repair agreement

Hutchinson has entered into a long-term agreement with Singapore Component Solutions (SCS) for the company to be its exclusive repair station in the Asia Pacific region.
SCS is a joint venture between Sabena technics and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance that provides component support.
The two companies have combined their respective skills to offer the Asia Pacific market an “additional M&A service” for Hutchinson products in Singapore. From now on, operators can take advantage of capabilities such as engine and APU vibration isolation systems, engine component repair, cabin interior, composite and structural repair, the companies said.
“At SCS, we are constantly looking to develop new repair opportunities for operators in the Asia Pacific region, and this partnership will allow us to do just that,” said Singapore Component Solutions CEO Thibault Campion. “Being chosen by a major equipment manufacturer like Hutchinson is a strong sign of confidence. We are proud of this new milestone and hope to expand our cooperation even further in the near future.”
Hutchinson Aerospace Services Executive Vice President Norbert Langlois commented: “Our partnership with SCS is evolving: it will undoubtedly bring added value to our mutual customers in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. We are happy to start our cooperation with SCS. This enables Hutchinson Aerospace Services to complement its worldwide network.”
