This Moon2Mars festival is one way the Houston Space Center, the official visitor center of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, provides public access to be a part of what is now happening in space exploration.

The Moon2Mars Festival offers a one-day conference between business on Thursday, June 9, and a three-day public festival from Friday, June 10 to Sunday, June 12, in honor of NASA’s Artemis program and innovations to help us build a sustainable human presence on the moon.

“The space city is known for stimulating innovation, and it’s home to flight control, so there’s no better place to experience the latest space exploration than the Houston Space Center,” said William T. Harris, president and CEO of the Space Center at X. “We are excited to give people of all ages access to the latest space technology and celebrate together as we look ahead to explore more of the moon’s surface and prepare to send astronauts to Mars.”

Commercial companies and NASA are developing technologies that allow future scientific discoveries to benefit humanity. The Business-to-Business conference aims to become a place for the aerospace industry to connect, learn about the latest developments in space exploration and inspire participants to develop innovative business solutions. The conference will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, networking events and opportunities throughout the day.

The three-day public festival will provide an opportunity to learn in detail about some of the space technologies we will need to travel to the moon and Mars, such as rovers, spacesuits, landing craft and more. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the advanced technologies needed for future space missions from NASA and leading companies working with NASA. These technological marvels will be on display at the Houston Space Center, where there are numerous artifacts that trace the past and exciting future of human space exploration.

“We are excited to continue and expand our relationship with the Houston Space Center through a joint partnership in this exciting event,” said Marty Pell, President and CEO of Wellby, Powered by JSC FCU. “Our passion for empowering dreamers to reach for the stars makes us remind the world that with permission to dream there is no limit to human achievement.
