Sponsored by the dairy hygiene giant Kersia, the pre-sale show starts at 10.00. The sale will start at 11.30.

The catalog includes eight service bulls, 128 fresh heifers and young cows and 30 heifers served.

The sale starts with a bullfight from the Dunbanard, Relough (3) and Prehen (3) herds. They were born between August 2020 and February 2021 and have high PLI values, up to GBP 704. The bulls offered are the sons of AI Bomaz Fynn, Alta Zarek, Pine-Tree Acura and Alta Leap.

Herds that send females to milk for auction include: Aghavilly, Ards, Ardmore, Burnhill, Glasson, Glastryfarm, Greenisle, Hilltara, Inch, Modelfarm and Relough.

The females who sell are the daughters of top AI, such as Alcove, Atrium, Crosby, Skywalker, Kenobi, ABS Crimson, Outback, Jericho, Jones, Batman, Rubicon and Hurricane.

Completing the sale is a wonderful group of 30 heifers served from Maurice Hurst’s Aghavea herd. These well-bred heifers were treated with artificial intelligence in December and January and are due to appear in September and October.

The group includes the daughters of the bulls AI TW Goodwhone, Westenrade Jethro, Bouw Rocky, Alta Barney and Alta Spring.
