The global online health and fitness platform The Healthy Mummy was acquired by Halo Food Co for $ 17 million.
The brand offers moms a number of wellness and wellness programs that include exercises, information on supplements, recipes and products. It was founded by Ryan Allen in 2010 and operates in the UK, US and Australia.
The business has more than 86,000 digital subscribers, so the acquisition will add significant inter-brand sales to Halo Food Co’s profits.
Halo Food Co is a product development company in Australia and New Zealand. The manufacturing capabilities of the ASX-listed company will help expand and develop the Healthy Mummy product profile to further scale the business.
