FL Technics Engine Services has received FAA certification for aircraft engine repair and maintenance, making it the first company in Lithuania to receive such approval. The certification is based on the EASA engine approval of the Kaunas MRO company.
“Meeting the demand and supply of aircraft engines and their components, we are constantly investing in our assets, capacities and capabilities, including a state-of-the-art purpose-built engine shop with five bays, storage and support facilities,” said Julius Bogusavičius, FL Technics, Managing Director engine, airframe and material services. “The FAA certification marks the achievement of such a commitment for us as a team and as a global maintenance organization.”
The approval enables FL Technics to increase its services to operators in EASA and FAA regulated markets. “Thanks to the dual output opportunity, we are now positioned to further develop our operations, including future purchases of the CFM family of engines, in addition to existing assets, as well as planned opportunities to provide engine disassembly services,” Bagusiavicius added.
