Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in McLennan County The annual “Last Chance CEUs” event will be held on February 22 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the AgriLife Extension office at 4224 Cobbs Drive in Waco.
The cost is $ 25, payable only in cash or by check. Seats are limited, pre-registration by email is required email@example.com or by calling office 254-757-5180.
Check-in on site will begin at 7:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch with barbecue are included in the price.
Participants can attend the entire course or certain hours required for them Texas Department of Agriculture units of further education. Participants can earn up to eight CEUs – three laws and regulations, two comprehensive pest control tools, two common and one drift minimization.
Waco activities schedule, further education units available
8-9 am – Auxin training, one laws and CEU rules.
9-11 am – Two laws and regulations of the CEU.
11 a.m. – One CEU Pest Control Complex.
12:30 pm-30:30 pm – One CEU Pest Control Complex.
13: 30-14: 30 – One minimization of CEU drift.
14: 30-16: 30 – Two common CEU.
Pesticide applicator requirements
Everything License holders of private TDA applicators must earn 15 units of continuing education in certain categories over a five-year period to maintain their license in effect.
Commercial and non-commercial applicators have to earn five units a year. Old licenses are renewed in late February, but recently issued licenses are renewed on the anniversary of their issuance.
